Funeral & Cremation Services in Lapel, Indiana

Bozell Funeral Homes & Crematory — Lapel Chapel

At our Lapel Chapel, the Bozell family and our staff help families navigate loss with compassion, clear guidance, and personal attention. We provide funeral, burial, cremation, memorial, and advance-planning services for Lapel and surrounding communities.

Whether you have just experienced a death or are beginning to consider future arrangements, we will help you understand your options and make decisions that reflect your wishes.

A Tribute That Reflects a Life

Every family has its own traditions, beliefs, and memories. We help you bring those details into a traditional funeral, visitation, celebration of life, or memorial gathering.

From selecting music and readings to displaying photographs and sharing stories, we will work with you to create a service that feels personal and meaningful.

Cremation Arranged Through Our Lapel Chapel

You can make cremation arrangements locally with our Lapel team. Cremation takes place at our privately owned and operated crematory inside our Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel in Anderson, keeping your loved one in the care of the Bozell team throughout the process.

We offer cremation with or without a gathering and will explain the available services, merchandise, and costs before you make your selections.

Generations of Service in Lapel

Our chapel’s history reaches back to Lapel’s first funeral establishment in 1887. Through the McCarty, Fisher, Hersberger, and Bozell families, that history has remained closely connected to the community.

Todd and Noah Bozell assumed ownership in 2019, continuing a tradition of caring for local families at 1010 North Main Street.
