Wilmore Jennings Jackson

Wilmore Jennings Jackson, 84, Anderson, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014, at Community Northview Care Center in Anderson following an extended illness. He was born on December 22, 1929, in Mt. Carmel, Kentucky to Willie and Addie (Smith) Jackson. Wilmore retired from R. C. A. in Bloomington. He is survived by three children, Ann Jackson of Oakland, CA, Terry (wife, Angie) Jackson of Winchester, and Virginia (husband, Frank) Volbrecht of Bedford; seven grandchildren, Gary Jackson of California, Lavita Jackson of Sacramento, CA, Terry Jackson of Anderson, Angela Zickmund of Mooresville, John Jackson of Winchester, Ellie and Brynn Volbrecht of Bedford; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Wanda; and a son, John Jackson. A private family service will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation.
