Mr. William Lytle Porter

William L. Porter, 98, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020. He was born August 12, 1921, in New Castle to the late Lyle & Lydia (Clevenger) Porter. William was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in World War II. He retired from Delco-Remy after several years. William is survived by his children, Mark Porter & Melissa Lindsey; grandchildren, Patrick, Jeremy, Gavin, Teran, Devan, Jordan, & Alexis; and a great-great granddaughter, Mia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nanette Porter; siblings, Sam & Ada Harrison. Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown, with Military honors.
