Vada O. Hilderbrand

Vada O. Hilderbrand, 83, of Carthage, Indiana passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017. She was born December 31, 1933, to the late James H. & Dovie (Littleton) Butler. Vada was a full time mother and housewife. She was a member of Carthage Wesleyan Methodist Church. She is survived by her children, Joan (Steve) Dick, Jeannie (Jeff) Sorrell, Steve (Elizabeth Hardebeck) Hilderbrand, Connie (Larry) Rumple, and Scott (Lou Ann Bradshaw) Hilderbrand; dearest friend, Virginia Davis; grandchildren, Erica, Mandy, Jeffrey, Daniel, Katie, Catherine, Sara, Dillon, & Brooke; and eighteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Romey Hilderbrand; and sister, June Back. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 12 at Condo & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Carthage. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
