Steven Scott Foster

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steven Scott Foster, 62, of Anderson, Indiana, who left us on September 5, 2026, at his home with loved ones by his side. Born on May 20, 1964, in Topeka, Kansas, Steven was the son of Lawrence and Sharon (Garringer) Foster.

A dedicated family man and community supporter, Steven was known for his generous spirit and willingness to lend a hand. As President of Miller Huggins, he built not just a career but a legacy of helping others. He was actively involved with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Friends Helping Families organization, and overall leaving a lasting impact on the lives of many in the Anderson community.

When he wasn't busy with work or volunteer activities, Steven loved spending time with his family and friends playing Euchre. His joy for life and laughter will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his parents, Sharon and Lawrence Foster; his children, Victoria (Todd) Stonebraker and Zachary Foster; siblings, Ted (Dawn) Foster, Christina (James) Avery, Angela (Gabe) Bingaman, and Laura (Jeremy) Hepler; and many cherished nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm-4:00 pm on Friday, September 11, 2026 at Bozell Funeral Homes & Crematory, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 E. 53rd Street, Anderson, Indiana.

A funeral service will follow visitation starting at 4:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made out to your favorite local charity in honor of Steven.
