Mr. Shea Wilson Smith

Shea Wilson Smith, 74, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021. He was born December 10, 1946, in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late Jeremiah R. & Marjorie Frances (Stewart) Smith. He graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic High School and Marian College (University). He later earned an MBA and a PhD. Shea worked at Maco Beverage and Indiana Beer & Wine along side his father. Shea was an entrepreneur who had a love of numbers and was a successful financial trader. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Shea was active volunteering and supporting several charities. He is survived by his sons, Sean Patrick (wife, Glenda) Smith & Shea Joel (wife, Linda) Smith; grandchildren, Gregory Stephen Fenker II, Sean M. Smith, Shea Jacob Smith, Taylor Smith, Savannah Smith & Emily Clarindo-Faria; brother, Stacy (wife, Sharon) Smith; five great grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Delores (Chapman) Smith; and brother, Stewart K. Smith. Private services were entrusted to Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Entombment was at East Maplewood Cemetery.
