Rosemary Lanane Wyatt

Rosemary Lanane Wyatt, 85, of Anderson, passed away from a respiratory illness on October 13, 2026. Born on October 1, 1941, in Anderson to the late William "Jack" and Winifred (Lanane) Wyatt, Rosemary dedicated her life to helping others. As a registered nurse for 45 years, she worked most of her career at St. John’s Hospital, retiring early to care for her parents. She truly embodied the spirit of compassion and care for others.

Rosemary was a member of the Associates of the Sisters of the Holy Cross and at St. Ambrose Catholic Church where she spent her life tirelessly doing what she felt was God's work. She would always look to the Lord and dedicating everything she did in prayer.

She is survived by her beloved cousins, Tammy (Greg) Kumkoski Vanzo, Scott Vanzo, Tom (Molly) and John (Amy) Castetter, along with their families and numerous Lanane family members. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents, William and Carolyn Lanane.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 2801 Lincoln St, Anderson, IN, 46016. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 PM at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. She will be laid to rest at East Maplewood Cemetery following the Mass as well as a Luncheon.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made out to the Sisters of the Holy Cross, 54293 Regina Dr, Notre Dame, IN 46556.
