Rosemary Jones

The family announces the passing and homegoing of Rosemary Jones, who left us on September 18, 2026, at the age of 89. Rosemary was born on November 18, 1936, in Anderson, Indiana, to the late William and Hazel (Taylor) Brogdon.

Rosemary lived a life filled with love, laughter, and service. She worked as a supply clerk at St. John's Hospital, where her warm personality and dedication touched the lives of many. An active member of Connection Pointe, she devoted countless hours to working with children and teaching at her church. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she found special comfort in John 14, where Jesus speaks of preparing a place for us in His Father's house and promises, "I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." These words of promise and belonging held a special place in Rosemary's heart throughout her life. Rosemary's vibrant spirit shone through in everything she did, including her participation in St. John's Hospital Theatrics and her achievements in scouting, where she earned the highest award.

Rosemary leaves behind a loving family, including her children, Robert J. Jones, Jr., W. Wade (Helen) Jones, Margot Jones, and Ward (Kay) Jones; grandchildren, Brian (Lisa) Jones, David (Anna) Jones, Christopher (Jen) Jones, Stephanie Jones, Jon (Kayla) Jones, Elise (Nathan) Tremblay, Austin (Alaina) Jones, Joseph Jones, Teresa (Jeff) Muse, Lucas Jones, and Bethany Jones; and great-grandchildren, Emma, Olivia, Savannah, Tamar, Caleb, Haley, Ethan, Jaylen, Ty, Eleanor, Beckett, Cooper, Finnley, and Jasper.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert J. Jones, Sr.; granddaughter, Michelle Jones; brother, William Richard Brogdon; sister, Patsy Cade; and daughters-in-law, Sharon Jones, Jerra Jones, and Flo Jones.

Visitation for family and friends will take place on Monday, September 21, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, Indiana 46013.

A funeral service honoring Rosemary's life will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Connection Pointe Church, 2702 W. 38th St., Anderson, Indiana 46011. There will be a brief visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will conclude services at Mendon Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rosemary Jones Memorial Fund in her memory.
