Rodney C. Galaher

Rodney C. Galaher, 88, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on March 9, 2026. Born on November 1, 1937, in Washington, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Russell and Virginia (Hennen) Galaher. Rodney dedicated 58 wonderful years to his beloved wife, Janet (Cavender) Galaher, who predeceased him in 2016.

Rodney spent much of his working life as a manager at Warner Press, where he brought his expertise and passion for the printing industry to the job. Outside of work, he was a man of many interests. He loved fishing, playing golf with his buddies, and going on memorable trips to Florida with Janet, they loved wintering in their condo in Florida. They often took the time to stop at beautiful botanical gardens along the way, enjoying nature together. A talented carpenter, Rodney was also known for being great with his hands, always up for a project around the house. Above all, Rodney was a devoted family man and a great dad.

Rodney is survived by his daughters, Tina (Kevin) Lewton and Diane Johnston; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Chris) Lewis, Robert (Stephanie) Lewton, and Wesley Johnston; four great-grandchildren, Kayleigh, Patience, Emma, and James.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Janet Galaher and parents, Russell and Virginia Gallaher.

A Celebration Gathering will take place Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Brown Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN, 46013 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
