Mr. Robert Hugh Grandison

Robert Hugh Grandison, 77, of Knightstown, passed away Monday, September 9, 2019. He was born February 4, 1942, in New Castle to the late, Robert Paul & Eleanor (Blake) Grandison. Hugh graduated from Mays High School in 1960. He was a lifelong farmer who also retired from Western Electric as a machinist. He was a member and Past Master of Golden Rule Masonic Lodge #16 F. & A.M. He was also a member of the Knightstown United Methodist Church. Hugh is survived by his wife, Betty (Sylvester) Grandison; children, Brian Hugh (wife, Shelli) Grandison and Jill Louise (husband, Ray) Sharp; grandchildren, Kayla (husband, Matt) May, Kurtis Grandison, Calla, Cayna, Carra, & Carma Sharp; great granddaughter, Laramie May; sisters, Marilyn (husband, Emory) Reece, Leah McDonald, Paula (husband, Scott) Way, Virginia (husband, Lloyd) Dunaway, & Marjorie (husband, Terry) Adamson; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Harry Grandison. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 14, at Condo & St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, with family officiating. Burial will be at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
