Robert Eugene “Rob” Gohn

Robert Eugene “Rob” Gohn, 59, of Pendleton passed away on April 11, 2024 at Compassus Hospice Facility in Indianapolis following an extended illness.  He was born on November 3, 1964 to Jacqueline (Waaso) Gohn and Russell Gohn.

Rob graduated from Pendleton Heights High School in 1983. He worked for Deflecto Company until 2003. Rob then began his career with the Department of Correction where he received his promotion to Sargent and worked for 20 years until his retirement. Rob loved tinkering with car and truck mechanics. He enjoyed fire-arms, video games, and was an avid collector of movies. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family whom he loved very much.

He is survived by his mother, Jacqueline (Waaso) Gohn; Sister, Julie (Michael) Adams of Rosedale, Indiana; Brother, Doug Gohn, of Pendleton; Nieces and Nephews, Jennifer (Jared) Johnson, Jessica Gohn, Jacob Farr, Adam Farr, and Raeleigh Adams; great-nieces and great-nephew, Madison, Alivia, Jacquelin, Elaina, and Remington. Rob is also survived by several close friends whom he cared for deeply.

Rob was preceded in death by his father, Russell Gohn.

Visitation for family and friends will take place from 12:00pm – 1:00pm on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Wilson St. Pierre, Lahm Chapel, 211 East State Street, Pendleton, Indiana 46064. A graveside service will be held immediately following visitation at Grovelawn Cemetery in Pendleton.
