Rita Darlene Teeters

Rita Darlene Teeters, 71, of Pendleton, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis following an extended illness.

She was born on June 23, 1954, in Anderson, Indiana to Vernon Keith Crumley and Wanda Mae (Moore) Crumley. She was a graduate of Pendleton Heights High School and went on to earn a bachelor's degree from Anderson University. She retired from Guide Lamp Division of General Motors.

She loved crafting, gardening and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching Disney movies and the Hallmark channel.

Rita is survived by her son, Brett (wife, Annalisa) Teeters; four grandchildren, Ayva, Turner, Micailynne and Logynn; and her brother, Garry Crumley.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lapel Chapel, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana 46051. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, at the funeral home.
