Rickie Joe Moyer

Rickie Joe Moyer, 70, of Anderson, passed away on August 9, 2026, at Ascension St. Vincent. Born on January 19, 1956, in Elwood at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital, he was the son of the late Carroll E. Moyer and Louise D. Partlow.

Rickie was a dedicated construction worker who took great pride in his craft. He also proudly served in the United States Navy. Known for his love of all pets, especially reptiles, he had a unique passion for pets that reflected his kind spirit. But above all, family meant the world to him. He cherished his son, Drew, and was a proud grandpa to Drew Jr. and Trish.

Rickie Joe is survived by his son Drew Moyer; grandchildren Drew Moyer Jr. and Trish Moyer; sisters, Marlene Burgess and Judy (Ronnie) Musik, his special niece, Karmissa "Winnie the Pooh" Wynn Foreman; great nieces, Meagan Foreman and Kristina Cornett, and great-great nieces Ta'Nyla, Trenytee, Aleena, Maxcine, and Harper.

He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter-in-law, Ashley Wilhelm.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
