Richard Lee Voyles

Richard Lee Voyles, of Fishers, Indiana, passed away at the age of 71 on April 22, 2025, at Meadow Brook Senior Living. Born on December 26, 1953, in Bloomington, Indiana, he was the son of Cecil and Barbara (Smith) Voyles.

Richard was known for his remarkable talents as a car salesman, making his mark in Fishers with an impressive knack for sales that truly set him apart. He also enjoyed his time at Edward Transmission before retiring. Throughout his life, Richard remained a man of strong faith, especially in his later years.

Outside of work, Richard was a passionate golfer and a proud member of the Pebble Brook Golf Club, where he cherished the camaraderie and friendly competition with his buddies. He also held a significant place in the AA community, even running meetings at the Hamilton County Jail. Richard took great pride in his 20 years of sobriety, showcasing his strength and dedication to personal growth.

An avid sports enthusiast, Richard was a die-hard fan of IU Basketball, the Indiana Pacers, and the Indianapolis Colts. But most importantly, he loved his family, especially his daughter, Natalie Grannan, and his grandchildren, with all his heart.

He is survived by his daughter, Natalie (spouse, Joel) Grannan; Three brothers, Robert (spouse, Vicki Lynne) Voyles, Ronald (spouse, Cindy) Voyles, and Bradley (spouse, Julie) Voyles; Three grandchildren, Katherine, Lauren, and Benjamin; He is also survived by Natalie's mother and special friend, Kathy DeWester, and several nieces and nephews.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Clinton Voyles.

A celebration gathering will take place on Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 12:00pm - 2:00pm at Bozell Funeral Homes - Lapel Chapel, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana 46051. A celebration of life service will follow visitation starting at 2:00pm at the funeral home on Saturday.
