Reberta "Bird" Riddle

Reberta "Bird" Riddle, 65, of Anderson, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Compassus Hospice in Indianapolis following an extended illness.

She was born on August 3, 1959, in Elwood, Indiana to Don Riddle and Thelma (Honeycut) Fields. She was a graduate of Anderson High School. She was a retired certified nursing aide. She was a phlebotomist for most of her career and then was in home health care.

She enjoyed riding motorcycles and loved her Harley. She was involved with Abate of Indiana, She also assisted with security and medical care every year at the Boogie.

Reberta is survived by a son, Troy (wife, Ashley) Cooper; a daughter, Angela Cooper; a brother, Roger (wife, Monette) Riddle; three grandchildren, Chrissy Anderson, Sunshine Almond and Levi Kirk; and five great-grandchildren, Jaiden, Kylan, Jackson, Myles and Paisley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Mike Riddle; and her step-father, Donnie Fields.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Bozell Funeral Homes, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 East 53rd Street, Anderson, Indiana 46013. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the funeral home.
