Rebecca Sue Warstler

Rebecca Sue Warstler, 79, of Westfield, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at St. Vincent Hospital in Carmel following an extended illness. 

She was born on October 18, 1946, in Anderson, Indiana to Boyd Robert and Nora B. (Smith) Hensley. She owned and operated Uptown Cafe in Lapel. She had also managed Wheelers in the Perkinsville area and the Belle Burger in Anderson.

She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping. 

Rebecca is survived by a son, Danny R. (wife, Cindy) Helms; a daughter, Nicole (husband, Rusty) Helms-Creech; four grandchildren, Jason Hull, Jayma Hull, Andrew (wife, Jessica) Helms and Aaron (wife, Tia) Milburn; five great-grandchildren, Kara, Jaycie, Elliana, Jackson and Cyrus; one great-great-grandchild, Ezra; two sisters, Marcia Niccum and Naomi Manlove; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Earl Warstler; her parents; three sisters, Patricia Marie Kern, Betty J. Knotts, and Cleonia C. Harless; and two brothers, Luther J. Hensley and Kenneth "Kenny" Hensley. 

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 12, 2026, at Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lapel Chapel, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana 46051 with Rev. Gary Cable officiating. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel. 

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
