Rebecca "Becky" L. Cooley

Rebecca "Becky" L. Cooley, 69, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026, surrounded by love. Born on October 18, 1956, in Anderson to the late Clurel and Pearl (Buck) Fletcher. 

She spent her career as a Qualified Medication Assistant (QMA) in nursing homes, where her compassion for others shone brightly. Whether she was sharing a laugh with friends, caring for her beloved dog, or enjoying her favorite tunes, Becky embraced life fully. Her faith in Jesus and dedication to her family were at the core of who she was.

Becky is survived by her daughter, Amanda McKay; honorary daughter, Cristal Patton; siblings, Brenda Kinsey, Vicky Miller, and David Fletcher; as well as her cherished grandchildren, Logan (Makayla) Kilgus, Rileigh (Matt) Jarrett, Carson McKay, and Cassidy McKay, five great-grandchildren, her lifelong best friend Sheri Buston, and numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Becky is preceded in death by her parents and her son, Brandon Jones.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Brown-Butz- Diedring Chapel. Cremation will follow.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
