Raymond Scott Maxwell

Raymond Scott Maxwell, 61, of Greenfield, passed away unexpectedly on June 15, 2025.

Scott was born on June 14, 1964 in Anderson, Indiana to the late Ralph E. Maxwell and Judy (Bonk) Wisehart. After graduating from Eastern Hancock High School in 1983, Scott worked for Perlman Rocque in Greenfield for over 20 years. Shortly after, he began working for Community Health Network as a security guard. Scott faithfully served our country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged after four years of service. He enjoyed hunting, specifically deer hunting, coaching football, country music, paintballing, and cheering on the Chicago Bears.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Stephanie Todd, Morgan (Justin) Pelkey, and Spencer Maxwell; grandson, Micah Rahschulte; former spouse, Chana Maxwell; and brothers, Tony (Charity) Maxwell and Chris Maxwell.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Ralph; mom and step-dad, Judy and Donnie Wisehart; uncle, Delbert Maxwell; and aunt, Rema Maxwell.

His visitation will be Friday, June 20, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Bozell Funeral Homes-Condo Chapel, 130 S. Main Street, Wilkinson, IN 46186. The funeral ceremony will follow immediately after at the funeral home. Burial will take place in McCray Cemetery. Scott's services have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes.
