Randall Lee Payne

Randall "Randy" Lee Payne, age 64, of Charlottesville, passed away Friday, August 1, 2025 at his residence.

He was born December 29, 1960 in Greenfield, Indiana the son of the late Charles and Frances “Joan” Payne.

Randy graduated from Eastern Hancock in 1979 and was the owner/operator of Paynes Auto. He was an avid golfer, racing enthusiast and loved playing cards and enjoying family.

Survivors include his wife, Cynthia “Cindy” (Sweet) Payne, whom he married, August 28, 2006; children, Christopher (Donna) Brinson of Greenfield and Gregory (Amanda) Brinson of Charlottesville; 7 grandchildren, Devyn (Alex) Brinson, Mason Brinson, Jacob Richardson, Jonathan Richardson, Madison Miller, Morgan Miller and Logan Hoskins; nieces and nephews, Chasity (Kris) Kindler, Steven “Cooter” Payne and Melissa Payne; special friend, Gary Ross; and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Steve Payne and John Kevin Payne.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brandywine Community Church, 1551 E New Rd, Greenfield, IN 46140.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes, Condo Chapel, Wilkinson, Indiana.
