Ms. Phyllis M. Lennis

Phyllis Marilyn Lennis, 95, passed away April 20, 2020. She was born December 7, 1924, in Perkinsville to the late John & Pauline (Turner) Blessinger. She was a lifelong mother & homemaker that loved her grandchildren & making baskets. She was a member of the Eden United Methodist Church. Phyllis is survived by her daughter Penny Carpenter; son Barry (wife, Wanda) Lennis; grandchildren, Scott Carpenter, April Ryan, Danesa Stolz, & Todd Lennis; 9 great grandchildren & 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel R. Lennis; brother, James Blessinger; sister, Janice Carson & son-in-law Mike Carpenter. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Private arrangements are entrusted to Condo & St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Wilkinson. Burial was in McCray Cemetery.
