Ms. Peggy D. Hess

Peggy D. Hess, 78, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She had previously lived in Fort Thomas, Kentucky and was a longtime resident of Alexandria, Indiana. She was born October 16, 1942, in Anderson, IN to the late John & Ruth (Garrison) Foster. Peggy attended Alexandria First Baptist Church in Alexandria, Indiana & First Baptist Church of Glen Este in Batavia, Ohio and always enjoyed attending her Sunday school classes. She was known as a talented seamstress, having made clothing, costumes and crafts for her children and grandchildren. Peggy enjoyed decorating and was a fantastic floral arranger. She loved gardening and listening to all types of music. She is survived by her daughters, Dayna (husband, Dean) Ritchey & DeDe (husband, Kevin) McNeal; grandchildren, Max & Mackenzie Colvill; siblings, Mike (wife, Peggy Jean) Foster, Marcia Thompson, and John “Denny” Foster; and four nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Hess. Private services are entrusted to Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
