It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Paul "Punky" "Paulie" Bagley Wykoff, who left us on January 30, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on November 23, 1942, to Paul Nathaniel Wykoff and Lilly Evelyn (Morgan) Wykoff, Paul made an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A proud alumnus of Anderson High School, class of 1961 and Ball State University, class of 1963, Paul earned his master's degree in business, setting the stage for a remarkable career. He began his journey in the professional world in 1964, serving as Chief Financial Officer at Delco-Remy, and went on to hold similar esteemed positions in Terre Haute, Indianapolis, Anderson, Muncie, and Shelbyville. Most recently, Paul contributed his expertise as the CFO for Blue Star.
Married to the love of his life, Cora Griffee, in 1989, they enjoyed a wonderful partnership for 36 joyous years. Together, they built a family that was the cornerstone of his life. Paul was not only known for his strong-willed nature but also for his vibrant spirit, lighting up any room he entered. His love for sports, particularly basketball and golf, led him to numerous championship wins.
A true life of the party, Paul possessed an infectious zest for life, brought laughter to gatherings, and generously shared his warmth with loved ones. Most importantly, he passionately adored his family, and they will carry his memory forward in their hearts.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Cora; daughters of his heart, Dream Christina (Brad) Johnson and Cassandra Ann Miller; children, Paula (Barney) Wright, Lorrie Walliser, Andrea (Jon) Karel, Michelle Yontz, and David Paul Wykoff; grandchildren, John-Paul Mudd, Monica Mudd, Cody J. Lee, Amy Wright, Charles (Kelly) Wright, Tyler Wright, Joey Allen, Emily Foshee, Kadi Karel, Alex (Lex) Karel, Casey (Tara) Yontz, Rachel (Julius) Storey, Taylor (Luke) Campbell, Meagan Wykoff, Haley Wykoff, and Chas (Brandon) Wilson; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and his fur-baby/sidekick, Annie.
He was preceded in death by his parents and cousin, Buddy Morgan.
As we gather to remember a remarkable man, let us celebrate Paul Wykoff's full life-a life marked by love, laughter, and a passionate dedication to family and friends. Rest peacefully, Paul; you will be missed but never forgotten.
Celebratory memorial services will be held at a later date to honor Paul's memory. Family and friends will come together to share stories, laughter, and the joy that he brought into their lives. Memorial contributions in Paul's name may be gifted to the American Cancer Society.
Paul's services have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory-Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel.
