Mr. Paul C. Broadwater

Paul Clinton Broadwater, 100, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 18, 2020. He was born February 15, 1919, in Shirley to the late Oscar W. & Alta (Wisehart) Broadwater. Paul retired from Guide Lamp then worked at the Greenfield Big Lots for a few years. He loved spending his time fishing and was an avid fan of Yankees’ Baseball & IU Basketball. Paul is survived by his children, Vicky (husband, Jack) Friddle and Paul C. Broadwater, Jr.; grandchildren, Karmen Carroll, Kim Hancock, Karl (wife, Dawn) Friddle, Danielle Broadwater, Kelly Broadwater, Matt Broadwater, Alison (husband, John) Quirk, Dustin Broadwater, & Wesley Broadwater; brother-in-law, Herman Craig; sister-in-law, Sarah Broadwater; twenty-one great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma (Craig) Broadwater; brothers, Franklin, Milford, & Robert Broadwater; sister, Marybelle Isaacs; and daughter-in-law, Pam (Hastings) Broadwater. Services will be at 1:00 pm Thursday, January 23 at Condo & St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Wilkinson. Burial will be at McCray Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
