Paul Emery Butler

Paul Emery Butler, 64, of Anderson, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Community Hospital of Anderson. Born on July 2, 1961, in Muncie, Indiana, he was the son of Clester Butler and Anna (Large) Perry. 

Paul was a devoted husband to his wife, Elizabeth (Roberts) Butler. They shared a life full of love and laughter. As a dedicated school bus driver and a familiar face at a local computer repair shop, he always made it a priority to provide for his family. 

Beyond work, Paul had a passion for music. He enjoyed impersonating Elvis and loved to sing for those around him, especially gospel music. Children held a special place in his heart; he spread joy wherever he went, including his ice cream truck, bringing smiles and sweet treats to countless kids in the community. 

Paul is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Butler; Five children, Allen Roberts, Todd Spillis, Mark Goins, Matthew Wagner, and Patrick Spillis; He is also survived by one sister, Barbara Turner, eleven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Brenda Kinser, Paul's brothers-in -law, Dwight Kinser and Robert Turner.

Cremation rites will take place at Bozell Funeral Homes & Crematory, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel.
