Patrick Allen "Hawg" Harris

Patrick Allen "Hawg" Harris, 78, of Knightstown, Indiana, passed away September 11, 2026, at his residence in Knightstown. 

Hawg was born on July 5, 1948, in Cadiz, Indiana to Robert "Red" Harris and Ruth Maxine (Ford) Harris. 

He graduated from Sulpher Springs High School in 1966.

Hawg served in the United States Army being stationed in Ft. Lewis, Washington.

He worked for Penn Central and Conrail Railroad, then retired from CSX after 42 years of employment. He loved fishing, baseball, softball and a wonderful day outdoors. He loved his dogs and the Chicago White Sox. 

Hawg is survived by his wife Denise Harris; a daughter, Margaret "Maggie" Kennedy; a stepson, Cory Brown; two brothers, Robert "Sparky" Harris, Timmy "Rat" Harris ; grandchildren, Keyln New, and Jack Kennedy; great-grandchildren, Aurora, Raeann, Delilah, and Eliza. 

He was also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Hawg's wishes were to have a private service at a later date. 

Services have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Wilkinson, Indiana.
