Pamela Rene Moore

Pamela Rene Moore, 67, of Frankton, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026, at her home in Frankton following a brief illness. 

She was born on December 27, 1958, in Arkansas to Robert S. Jannings and Dessie Mirlene (Hickman) Kirby. She attended Lapel Schools and went on to earn her associate's degree. She retired after many years in home healthcare as a nurse's aide.

She attended Anderson First Church of the Nazarene and Florida Station Church of God. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a volunteer in her community and loved being able to give something back. She was a part of the Widow Ministry after her husband, Ed, passed away. She worked with many organizations that helped women and children in need. She loved to organize and clean. She was very orderly. She enjoyed teaching Sunday school at Florida Station Church of God. 

Pamela is survived by her son, Charles Edward "Chuck" (wife, Dawnetta) Moore; a daughter, Rene Cobb; six grandchildren, Gracelyn Marie (Collin Grott) Gullion, Charles Nathan (Addie Brobston) Moore, Emmalyn Marie Gullion, Addisyn Lynn Moore, Brynlyn Marie Gullion, Shaylyn Marie Gullion; and Leigha Rene (husband, CJ) Corbett; two great-grandchildren, Halex Corbett and Athena Corbett; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Moore on March 3, 2025; her parents; and her brother, Robert C. "Bob" Jannings.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lapel Chapel, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana 46051 with Pastor Jerry Hilligoss and Pastor Doug Doan officiating. Cremation will follow.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, August 10, 2026, at the funeral home.
