Opal Lucille Reno, 100, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Bethany Pointe Health Campus.
She was born on December 8, 1925, in Greenfield, Indiana, to Charlie and O'Dessie (Williams) McClammer.
Opal devoted her life to caring for her family as a homemaker, creating a loving and nurturing home. She was first united in marriage to Robert Potter, with whom she shared many cherished years and built a beautiful life together. Following Robert's passing, she later married T. Earl Reno.
A woman of deep faith, Opal loved the Lord with all her heart. She was a devoted and faithful member of First Pentecostal Church in Anderson, where her kindness and gentle spirit touched many lives.
She will be deeply missed by her children, David (Cindy) Potter and Sheryl Croy; her grandchildren, Kim (Shannon) Matox, Stacy Potter, Walter Croy, and Chad Croy; and great-grandchildren, Sierra, Destiny, and Teran.
Opal was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Robert Potter and T. Earl Reno; and eleven brothers and sisters.
Visitation for family and friends will take place on Friday, April 10, 2025 from 12:00pm - 2:00pm at Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 East 53rd Street, Anderson, Indiana 46013. A funeral service will folow visitation starting at 2:00pm at the funeral home with Pastor Luke St. Clair officiating.
Burial will conclude services at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
