Oma Land

Oma Land, 79, Lebanon, passed away Monday, June 20, 2011, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon following a brief illness.
She was born on December 24, 1931, in London, Kentucky to Delbert and Sintha (Norton) Root.
She is survived by five children, Ruby Cornett, Harold Land, Diane Murphy, Duane Land, and Cathy Miller; fourteen grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dallas Land; and a son, Gerald Land.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Raymond Weiss officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
