Norman D. "Norm" Salazar, who passed away on January 9, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on July 1, 1955, in Marion, Indiana, Norm was a beloved brother, uncle, and friend. He was the son of the late Dario and Fredus (Berry) Salazar.

After graduating from Huntington North High School in 1973, Norm proudly served in the United States Air Force and the National Guard, showcasing his dedication and commitment to his country. He lived life on his own terms, finding joy in simple pleasures like fishing, cruising around in his golf cart, and tending to his yard.

Norm is survived by his sister, Becky (Larry) Ooley, and his brother, Mike (Anita) Salazar; nieces and nephews, Sunshine (Eric) Whitlow, Jamie (Amber) Caldwell, Candie (Matt) Hazelwood, Courtney (Brian) Ooley-Schultz, Randi (Christian) DesJardins, Sabrina Kinkead, Samuel Kinkead, Daniel (Caitlyn) Kinkead, Amanda Salazar, Derrick Salazar, Tanya Washington, and Cassandra (EK) Kebbeh, and several great nieces and nephews. All of whom he claimed as his own children and loved very much, and his pets (Best Friends), Rascal and Greyson.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and two nephews, Jayson and Corey Caldwell.

Norm's services have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory- Lahm Chapel.
