Norma "Pearl" Elmore, 85, of Anderson, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at at her home surrounded by those she loved following an extended illness.
She was born on October 5, 1940, in Anderson, Indiana to James C. and Mildred Faye (Shull) Skinner. She was a 1958 graduate of Fortville High School. She was a bookkeeper and accountant.
She enjoyed bowling and traveling, playing cards and games. She loved to take motorcycle rides all over the United States. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Norma is survived by two daughters, Cheryl (husband, JD) Rogers and Robin (husband, Chip) Abbott; five grandchildren, Rachelle (husband, Mat) Rice, Ryan Abbott, Rebecca (husband, Michael) Alvarez, Nick (wife, Leighann) Rogers and Rick (wife, Meghan) Rogers; six great-grandchildren, Patrick, Oliver, Brinkley, Hadley, Rori and Olivia; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Dick" Elmore; her parents; and a brother, Hayden Skinner.
Per Pearl's wishes, cremation will take place, and her final resting place will be Marion National Cemetery with her husband Richard "Dick".
