Naomi Buckner

Naomi Gay Buckner, 78, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2019. She was born June 21, 1941, in Mayland, Tennessee to the late Joseph & Bessie (Hamm) Hotsinpiller. She worked for Anderson Community Schools for over 28 years as a baker. She loved cooking and spending time with her family. Naomi is survived by her husband of 63 years, MC Buckner; children, Debbie (husband, David) Hatt, Darla (husband, Jim) Cope, Terry (wife, Debbie) Buckner, and Tim (wife, Monica) Buckner; grandchildren, Brenda, Eddie, Ryan, Michael, Brandon, Joey, Ashley, Taylor, Payton, & Nolan; ten great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 6:00 pm Monday, December 23, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Burial will be later in Tennessee. Visitation will be from 4:00 until the time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association.
