Mr. Michael Eugene Moore

Michael Eugene Moore, 74, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017, at his residence. He was born August 1, 1942, in Anderson to the late, Charles & Mary E. (Smith) Moore. He graduated from Frankton High School. Michael retired from the City of Anderson, Water Department, after 35 years. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Nelma (Tranbarger) Moore; sisters, Verla Wright & Shirley DiRuzzi; several nieces & nephews; and several great nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara Paul and Vivian Hays; and brother-in-law, Donald Wright. After cremation, graveside services will be conducted 1:00 pm Thursday, February 23, at Jones Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the Madison County Animal Protection League, 613 Dewey St., Anderson, IN 46016.
