Matthew W. Fisher, 48, of Wilkinson, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on April 18, 1976 in Elwood, Indiana to Daniel L. Fisher and Carol J. (Mitchell) Bell.
Matthew graduated from New Castle Chrysler High School class of 1995. Matthew worked for B&B Lawn Service and was a carpenter for many years. When Matthew wasn't working he enjoyed cars and motorcycles and was a talented artist. Most importantly he enjoyed spending time with his son. Collin was the light of his life and they were inseparable.
Matthew is survived by his mother, Carol J. (Amos Harold) Bell; his fiancee, Diadima Young; son, Collin Fisher; three siblings, Brian (Shannon Seibert) Bell, Traci (Jeff) Ockomon and Jennifer (Dan Owens) Davis; former sister-in-law, Kimberly Bell; two Aunts and Uncles, Sid (Sharon) Mitchell and Janice (Richard) Maville; three nieces, Brianna Bell, Kylie Ockomon, and Ashley Bell; his fiancee's mother, Vicky Octavio; several cousins; and special friends, Josh Ferree, Phil Whiteaker and Ron Guffey.
He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel L. Fisher; paternal grandparents, Carl and Mildred Fisher; maternal grandparents, John and Florence Mitchell; and his fiancee's father, Danilo Octavio.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Bozell Funeral Homes, Lahm Chapel, 211 East State Street, Pendleton, Indiana 46064.
Services will begin at 1 p.m, Saturday, August 17, 2024 at the funeral home with Chaplain Shawn O'Connor officiating.
