Matthew Wayne Filbrun

MARKLEVILLE- Matthew Wayne Filbrun, 49, passed away October 27, 2026, at his residence.

Matthew was born on May 21, 1977, in Anderson, Indiana to Wayne and the late Pam L. (Frampton) Filbrun and was an area resident all his life.

He was a longtime sales associate at Walmart in Anderson for many years, working in almost every department.

Matthew was a member and served as sound technician at Autumn Hills Church, Anderson and attended Faith Church, Anderson with his dad and brother, David.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Pam L. (Frampton) Filbrun.

Survivors include his father, Wayne Filbrun; stepchildren/children, William (Claire) Sebring, Micole Sebring, Ashley (Kannin) Boulware, Carin Brewer and Grace Filbrun; siblings, Shelley (Danny) Dishroon, Thad Filbrun, Aaron (Jamie) Filbrun, David Filbrun and Jennifer Filbrun; several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 am, Monday, November 2, 2026, at Faith Church, 2817 E. 53rd St., Anderson, Indiana 46013 with services beginning at 11 am. Pastors Carl Lamb, Jerome Bell and Walt Weaver will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Ovid, Indiana.
