Mary Dawn Evans

Mary Dawn Evans, 54, of Anderson, passed away Monday, December 18, 2017 after an extended illness. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 22, 1963 to the late Ralph and Mary Durbin. She was a homemaker. Mary fought a courageous battle with cancer. She was an avid nature lover, and loved all types of animals. She is survived by her husband, Steven Evans of Anderson; children, Marissa Swarts of Tennessee, Kendra Lee Evans of Muncie, Ian Evans of Anderson; grandchildren, Emma and Trey Swarts; siblings, Glen Durbin, Lila Rowling, Chris Smith, and many other siblings. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Cremation will take place. There will be a springtime Celebration of Life. Contact the family for details.
