Marjorie A. Hathcoat

Marjorie A. (Roach) Hathcoat, 88, wife of Norman D. Hathcoat, passed peacefully at home on September 18, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born on September 11, 1937 in Anderson, IN. Marge was a 1955 graduate of Anderson High School.

Marge's greatest joy came from spending time with her family and fostering her gift of giving of "food" to everyone who stepped into her homes. Her homemade recipes she often made were ones handed down through her generations and were often requested by her family especially around holiday gatherings. One would never leave her home without a portion of her heart through food prepared by her hands.

Survivors include her daughter Connie Hathcoat and her son Ron (Julie) Hathcoat. Grandchildren; Carly, Paul, Nick, Alyssa, Ryan, Shaun and Marco, 9 great grandchildren, 2 brothers Ted Roach and Jack (Barb) Roach, and several nieces and nephews.

Marge was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years Norman D. Hathcoat, a daughter Carol (Rick) Salvino, her parents Gerald and Maxine (Lemaster) Roach, and a brother Rex Roach.

Marge's wishes were to have a Private Family Graveside.
