Marion David Stephenson

Marion David Stephenson, 72, of Lapel, passed away Friday, August 20, 2021, at his residence in Lapel following an extended illness.He was born April 28, 1949, in Noblesville, to Eugene Stephenson and Marjorie (Breeden) Stephenson.David graduated from Lapel High School in 1967.He retired in 1999 from Guide Division of General Motors after 22 years. He previously worked for Mullet Construction in Lapel for 14 years.David was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Noblesville. David enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.He is survived by his wife Jackie (Snyder) Stephenson of 51 years of Lapel; daughter Jennifer (Scot) Hawkins of Bedford; granddaughters, Anna (Marshall) Claxton, and Hadley Hawkins; great-granddaughter, Marion Claxton; brothers, Ron (Donna Kay) Stephenson, Tom (Cindy) Stephenson, and Phil (Kathy) Stephenson; brother and sister in law, Susan (Tom) Tudor. David was also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.David was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Emily Stephenson, his brother Gary Stephenson, and his nephews, Aaron Stephenson, Joshua and Joseph Tudor.A mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, August 30, 2021 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Noblesville, Indiana, with Rev. Michael Block officiating.
