Marilee J. Watkins

Marilee J. Watkins, 82, Lapel, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2012, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville following a brief illness. She was born on October 16, 1930, in Hamilton County, Indiana to Carrah and Dora (Seal) Musselman. She graduated from Lapel High School in 1948. Marilee was a member of the 8 of 48 Euchre Club. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Jack R. Watkins; one daughter, Teresa (husband, Justin) Fisher of Frankfort; one daughter-in-law, Tawn Watkins of Scottsdale, AZ; three grandchildren, Matthew (wife, Kellie) Fisher of Midlothian, VA, Peter Fisher of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Katie Fisher of Indianapolis; three great-grandchildren, Gracie, Mason, and Jake Fisher; a nephew, Rex Musselman; and a niece, Carol Clark. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Brent Watkins; a sister, Avanelle Musselman; and a brother, Clifford Musselman. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Justin Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in Crownland Cemetery, Noblesville. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 2:30 pm Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
