Marie M. Hersberger, 89, Anderson, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at Community Hospital of Anderson.
She was born on October 25, 1926, in Montgomery County, Georgia to Edward and Bessie (Wood) McIntyre.
She is survived by one daughter, Cecelia Lee Duckworth Lester (husband, Jim) of Anderson; one grandson, Robert Dale Lester; and close friends Diane and Paul Lawther She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Aris Keith Hersberger; a brother, George William McIntyre; and a sister, Nancy Ruth McIntyre Boone.
No services will be held. Private burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
