Malena “Mindy” Berry

Malena “Mindy” Berry, 53 of Anderson, passed away at her residence. She was born, June 29, 1965, in Anderson the daughter of Charles and Josie Hall. She graduated from Marion High School and was a homemaker. Mindy had a loving and kind spirit and enjoyed being a homebody and shopping with her granddaughter. She is survived by her parents; Charles and Josie Hall, husband, Michael Thornton; a son, Seth Woodruff; grandchildren, Alyvia Marie Woodruff and Shelby Karson; brothers, David Hall, Chuck Hall and Frank Hall; sister, Monica Morgan; and her pet dog, Maggie Sue Bear. A gathering for family and friends to honor her life and memory will be 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm Friday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
