Luther "Luke" H. McArthur

Mr. Luther "Luke" H. McArthur, age 85, passed away on June 30, 2024. He was born in Harlan, Kentucky on July 22, 1938, to the late Robert & Etta Cardin McArthur. He married Oma "Jean" Hensley and are the parents of James (Bethany) McArthur, Betty (Alan) McWhorter, Brenda (Mike) Foster & Luther G. McArthur. He is survived by his wife; children; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Ed McArthur; sister, Rebecca Grubbs; and extended Hensley family.

Luther worked with the Labor's Union 1112-Muncie. He attended the Southdale Nazarene Church and enjoyed bees, gardening, fishing, rummage sales and most importantly loved being with family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Patsy Smith; brother, Charlie James McArthur; granddaughter, Sarah Jean Foster; daughter-in-law, Sarah McArthur; and mother-in-law, Pauline Hensley.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Bozell Funeral Homes-Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013. The funeral ceremony will take place at 3:00 PM at the funeral home. The burial will take place at Mechanicsburg Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel.
