Lloyd E. Brumback

Lloyd E. Brumback, 94, of Anderson, passed away on November 21, 2025. Lloyd was born on August 28, 1931 in Anderson to the late Richard and Norma (Allen) Brumback. He lived in Anderson his whole life. The majority of his work life he was a letter carrier for 40 years, and then 14 more years in the county assessor's office. 

He met the love of his life, V. Eileen Goodwin when he was 16, and married her 3 months later. They were married 60 years. 

He and Eileen loved to dance, and would do so at every opportunity. Lloyd loved bowling, and until a few years ago, bowled on 2 leagues a week and also played cards in a euchre club.

Lloyd served in the United States Army, and was a military policeman in Korea.

Lloyd is survived by his daughter, Linda (Roy) Brummett; sons, Bruce (Carmen) Brumback, Richard "Dick" (Bea) Brumback and Mark Brumback; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Frank Brumback; wife, V. Eileen (Goodwin) Brumback; daughter, Leanne Brumback; son, Larry Brumback; grandson, Christopher Fox; siblings, Richard "Bud" Brumback, Lee "Ozzie" Brumback, Paul "Danny" Brumback, Margaret Smith, Janice Dyroff and Marilyn Brumback.

His wife and his family were everything to him, and sometimes he worked 2-3 jobs at a time to take care of them. There was no better husband, father or friend. Lloyd was a gentleman, and cared for others more than himself to the very end. He knew the Lord and was ready to go meet Him. Though friends and family here on earth are heartbroken, the angels are rejoicing.

A public viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 3:00-7:00 pm at Bozell Funeral Homes & Crematory, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 E. 53rd Street, Anderson, Indiana.
