Linda Gay Wile

Linda Gay (Henricks) Wile, 56, Lapel, passed away November 22, 2014, at her residence.

She was born October 3, 1958, in Delta, OH and was a 1977 graduate of Delta High School; she received her BS degree from St. Francis College and her Masters degree from Indiana University. Linda loved doing for others and was a former special education teacher at Muncie Central and Madison Grant.

She is survived by her husband, Kip Wile of Lapel; one son, Jordan Meister-Wile of Lapel; her mother, Marilyn Henricks of Delta, OH; step-daughters, Kristal (Wile) (husband, Collin) McCorkle, Kara Wile and Tisha Hill; grandchildren, Kennedy and Kerrigan McCorkle all of Anderson; three brothers, Bob Henricks, Tim Henricks both of Toledo, OH and John Henricks of Delta, OH; one sister, Laurie (husband, Mike) Fitzpatrick of Holland, OH; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Joan and Howard Wile, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jay and Kathleen Wile and Skip and Luann Wile, and a special friend, Jalaine Hanneken as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Henricks; a brother, Dave Henricks and a nephew, Allen Henricks.

Service will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Jay Wile officiating. A private family committal service will be conducted at Mt Summit Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
