Larry W. Young

Larry Wayne Young, 80, of Anderson, passed away on September 19, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Larry was born on May 24, 1946 in Anderson to the late Garrel Andrew and Marietta (Elmore) Young.

After graduating from Anderson High School in 1964, Larry began working at General Motors before getting drafted into the United States Army. Larry faithfully served our country until his honorable discharge in 1972. He married his loving wife, Cynthia Kaelber, on May 24, 2012 and the two were married for 14 years.

Larry found his spiritual home at Grace Holiness Church and was a dedicated member for many years. He loved to worship the Lord any chance he could.

Larry loved watching the Three Stooges, Westerns, and listening to old time rock-n-roll. Most importantly, Larry had a heart of gold and had so much love to give to everyone who knew him.

Left to cherish his memories is his wife, Cindy; his children, William Ray Kaelber, Tasha Nichole Ryan, Dominique Kaelber, Isaiah Kaelber, Tesla Kaelber, Lucas Kaelber, and Jacob Kaelber; several grandchildren; sister, Sharon Young; and sister-in-law.

He was preceded in death by his parents; children, Zachary Gibson, Telicia Kristian Kaelber, three infant children; and two sisters, Becky and Lou.
