Larry G. Kabat

Larry G. Kabat, 82, of Anderson, passed away on July 5, 2026 after an extended illness.

Larry was born on December 9, 1943 in Huntington, Indiana to the late George and Ethel (Aughinbaugh) Kabat.

He married the love of his life, Linda Sue (Warren) Kabat, on June 6, 1992 and the two spent many wonderful years together.

Larry was a quiet man but enjoyed sharing stories and making others laugh. A true heart of gold, he would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. He enjoyed perusing Wal-Mart where he would always pick up his favorite snacks, Ding-Dongs and Ho Ho's.

Left to cherish his memories are his in-laws who were more like siblings, Paul Warren, Calvin Warren, Edward Warren, and Phyllis Christlie; dear friends, Jim and Brenda Cook and grandkids; and girlfriend, Suzie.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Linda; and infant brother, Ted Kabat.

A graveside service for Larry will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at 12:00 PM at Maplewood Cemetery, 200 College Dr, Anderson, IN 46012 (the cemetery will place orange cones leading back to the grave space, please follow those). Larry's services have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory- Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel.
