Larry "Mike" Hall

Larry “Mike” Hall passed away on May 28, 2026 at the age of 72.

Mike was born in Anderson, IN to Lawrence Eli Hall and Margaret Louise (Weston) Hall. He graduated from Highland High School, earned an associates degree from Ivy Tech Community College, and worked at General Motors before taking early retirement.

He was an avid sports fan whose love of athletics evolved from playing to coaching, umpiring, serving as league director, and later keeping statistics. Mike especially treasured the year he lived in Baxley, Georgia, often referring to it as the best year of his life. He also enjoyed working in his yard and took pride in keeping it well maintained. Mike developed a lifelong interest in genealogy and ancestry research from his grandmother, Cleolyn Weston, whom he loved dearly.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his two children, his son, Derek Hall of Evansville, IN, and his daughter, Kristin Lamb of Fishers, IN. He also leaves behind six grandsons: Blake Ingles, Andrew Hall, Aiden Lamb, Logan Hall, Seth Lamb, and Justin Hall; and one great-grandson, Hunter Ingles.

He is also survived by his two brothers, Tim Hall and Barry Bouse; three nephews and one niece: Nick Bouse, Angel Bradford, Adam Bouse, and Gabe Hall.

A private graveside service will be held at East Maplewood Cemetery.
