Kay Don Stevenson

Kay Don Stevenson, 91, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at his home in Noblesville following an extended illness.

He was born May 31, 1935, in Noblesville, Indiana to Cedric Shaw and Ruby Evelyn (Everitt) Stevenson. He was a 1953 graduate of Lapel High School. He became a toolmaker apprentice and attended Ass-Int Corp School. He retired as a senior manufacturing engineer from Delco Remy Division of General Motors in Anderson.

He was a member of Braden River United Methodist Church in Bradenton, Florida. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, golfing and fishing. He was a 50-year member of the Noblesville Masonic Lodge #57, a 50-year member of the Lions Club, member of the Scottish Rite, and was chairman of the die cast engineers.

Kay Don is survived by his children, Robin (Jeff) Passwater of Pendleton, Tracy (Rose Fioravanti) Stevenson of Westfield, Lezlie Cook of Zephyrhills, Florida, and Keri (Jeff) Moore of Cicero; one sister, Etta Gann; twelve grandchildren, Nick (Ashley) Passwater, Aaron Stevenson, Amanda (Jason) Kirklin, Adam (Karly) Stevenson, Angela (Matt) Poisel, David (Jamie) Cook, Steven (Veronica) Cook, Ivery (Alex) Ozuna, Travis (Katie) Moore, Jenna (Aaron) Goodnight, Justyn (Ashley) Webb and Alex (Dallas) Moore; twenty-seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his companion, Carol Hall of Bradenton, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his wife whom he married May 28, 1955, Barbara Jean (Layton) Stevenson; his parents; a sister, Ivalou Sisson; a son-in-law, Donald E. Cook; and two brothers-in-law, Charles Sisson and Luther "Bud" Gann.

Memorial Services will be held at 5:00 PM, on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lapel Chapel, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana 46051 with Pastor Aaron Taylor officiating. Ennichement will take place at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel at a later date.

Visitation will be from 3:00 Pm to 5:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home. Masonic rites will be conducted by Noblesville Masonic Lodge #57 F&AM at 5:00 PM on Friday.
