Kathie M. Jones, 73, of Pendleton, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Community Hospital in Anderson following a brief illness.
She was born on September 24, 1952, in Anderson, Indiana to Donald L. and Marilyn L. (Burns) Huntzinger. She was a 1971 graduate of Pendleton Heights High School. She retired from Regency Electronics.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She lived a simple life. She loved reading, painting and spending time with her family whom she loved dearly.
Kathie is survived by her two sons, Jason Jones and Jesse Jones; three grandchildren, Francesca "Frankie" Jones, Percy Boillet and Jason Boillet; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Michael Ray Huntzinger.
A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 East State Street, Pendleton, Indiana 46064 with Pastor Joel Weir officiating. Cremation will follow.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
