Karen Dee Willis, 69, of Greenfield, Indiana, passed away July 20, 2024, at Brickyard Brandywine in Greenfield following an extended illness. She was born on April 5, 1955, in Greenfield to Norman Barnard and Nina (Railsback) Barnard.
Karen graduated from Eastern Hancock High School class of 1973. She was a faithful member at Wilkinson Church of Christ. Karen primarily worked inside the home as a homemaker. Karen loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with them.
Karen is survived by her husband, Jerome Willis; two sons, Mike Willis, Kevin (Angie) Willis; a daughter, Kelly (Jake) Alexander; grandchildren, Ashton Willis, Korbin Alexander, Kolten Synasael, Kennedy Alexander, Hailey Willis, Evan Bridges, and Logan Bridges; one brother, Kerry (Linda) Barnard; sister-in-law, Laura Willis; and brothers-in-law, Jerry, Denzel, and David Willis. Karen is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation for family and friends will take place on Monday July 29, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Bozell Funeral Homes, Condo Chapel, 130 South Main Street, Wilkinson, Indiana 46186.
A graveside service will take place following visitation at 12:30 p.m. at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson with Terry Kemp officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Rock Steady Boxing at Hancock Wellness Center, 888 West New Road, Greenfield, Indiana 46140
