Jerry R. Raymer

Jerry R. Raymer, 81, of Pendleton passed away at his home May 22, 2022.

He was born December 23, 1940 in Hancock County, Indiana and was a Pendleton area resident all his life.

Jerry was a retired railroad engineer.

He was a US Marine Corps veteran. Jerry was a member of Eden Masonic Lodge # 477 F.&A.M. and United Midget Racing Association. He enjoyed racing, gardening and restoring sports cars.

Survivors include his wife, Jane (Shirley) Raymer; five children, Shirley (Lee) Spall, Wade (Emily) Raymer, Lee Raymer, Ralph (Jennifer) Raymer and Eve Raymer; 13 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Dick Raymer and Jenny Smith.

A memorial visitation will be held at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, June 2, 2022.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Jane Raymer in c/o the Raymer Family with envelopes available at the funeral home.
